Before & After: A small but perfectly formed downstairs cloakroom

One of our tightest ever projects, proving that small can definitely be beautiful! 

F's mum has Parkinson's and dementia and, after a sudden downturn in health, was left living on just the ground floor of her home. With only a small cloakroom downstairs, washing was difficult and the only option was to bed bath.

Fine & Able helped F turn their tiny downstairs toilet into a fully functioning wetroom that would allow F's mum to access the toilet and shower using a shower chair and carer support.

With some incredibly tight design we managed to fit a wetroom fomer and drain into the floor, fully tile and waterproof the room, and add a handheld shower and riser rail.

With underfloor heating added too, it's a good temperature and helps the water dry up nice and quickly keeping the place fresh. And of course it looks gorgeous too!

Now F's mum can have a proper wash again in nice surroundings, which has made such a difference to her spirit and day-to-day as well as her family and carers.
