Forest green accessible bathroom

The owners of this Northamptonshire home wanted to create a practical but stylish accessible bathroom for their disabled sister. Inspired by the beautiful surrounding countryside, the family hoped to bring a sense of nature to the scheme.

The family fell in love with our beautiful blue/green Luminous tile collection. Our designer paired them with elegant Coast slip-resistant floor tiles and contrasting storage niches add interest and brighten the room.

Coupled with satin steel fixtures and fittings that fit perfectly in their modern purpose-built accessible home, the result is a wetroom that wows.  

An important part of the brief was to make sure their sister was able to invite her friends over to stay. Our designer carefully incorporated elements to support various access needs – physical, cognitive, and sensory – when creating the design.

It has been purpose built for people with disabilities, but it’s been done in a subtle, design-led way, so it doesn’t look clinical in the slightest.
