Meet a Designer
How you use your bathroom and the styles you are drawn to are different for every one of our customers. As bathroom designers, it’s our job to get to know you so we can help you create a bathroom that you love.
With Fine & Able you’ll always work with the same designer throughout the whole process. We think this relationship is vital to build the trust needed to create a bathroom that works perfectly for you.
Here’s a spotlight on one of our Accessible Design Consultants, Vivian, so you can get to know a bit more about us and the people that make up the Fine & Able team.

Meet Vivian
Vivian is one of our Accessible Design Consultants. With a background in architecture and visual arts, Vivian brings a wealth of experience to the role. Vivian works on projects of all sizes, but she has particular expertise in projects requiring larger structural changes or planning permissions.
Tell us something we wouldn’t know about you
During Vivian’s architecture studies, Vivian focused on how people interact with the built environment and how to ensure it is more reflective of its diverse users.
Not only is Viv a talented designer, she is also an active campaigner for improved diversity in architecture and a more inclusive built environment. She advocates for the kaleidoscope of experiences, historical and contemporary, to be better represented in the field.
Vivian regularly speaks at events to raise the profile of this issue and has been awarded by Women in Property and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
She’s also an incredibly good singer!
What attracted you to Fine & Able?
“I remember the precise moment I came across the role at Fine & Able”, says Vivian. “I instantly felt this people-centred company chimed with exactly what I am trying to achieve with the built environment”, she explains. Vivian sees every contribution to the built environment, from the humble bathroom to the statement skyscraper, as a social art form.
Before moving to the UK to study architecture at the University of Brighton, Viv has fond memories of her childhood home in Trinidad. “As well as a place to live, it was a place where people came together to entertain and enjoy time together. The house was a character of its own", she says.
This deep appreciation of the power of surroundings to promote wellbeing and lift a person’s mood is woven through everything Vivian designs at Fine & Able.
What’s your favourite thing about working at Fine & Able?
“100% the team!”, says Vivian. “I feel like it's very rare to come across such a vibrant, upbeat, and forward-thinking group of individuals. We work excellently as a collective, but what makes it even better is the individual flair each person brings to their role.”
